Local Hispanic cultural institute hosts an evening celebrating Venezuela with food, a guest speaker, and community engagement.

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Instituto de Cultura Hispánica de Corpus Christi is hosting a special “Asamblea for Venezuela” event on Thursday offering locals a taste of Venezuelan culture and cuisine.

The evening will feature a presentation by Dr. Jesus Gomez, DDS, on “The Beauty of Venezuela,” offering insights into the country’s culture and natural landscapes.

The event takes place at the Instituto de Cultura Hispánica de Corpus Christi, located at 1617 N. Chaparral from 6-8 p.m., and is designed to celebrate Hispanic culture while engaging the local community.

Guests will also enjoy a Venezuelan-inspired meal, including appetizers such as tequeños and mini-arepas, the traditional main dish pabellón venezolano, and flan for dessert.
