AUSTIN, Texas (KCBD) – The Texas Two Step® jackpot for the today’s drawing has reached an estimated $2.4 million, the game’s biggest prize up for grabs since 2006. If a player wins the jackpot tonight, the prize would be the second largest since the game launched in 2001.
The drawing will be the 10th in the current jackpot run since starting at an estimated $200,000 for the drawing on February 2. No player has matched all four numbers and the bonus ball yet. Today’s draw will determine whether one or more winners will celebrate a near-record jackpot win, or if the prize will continue to grow.
The largest Texas Two Step jackpot in game history was $2.9 million on April 27, 2006 drawing, shared by three winners. Two of the winning tickets were sold in Longview, and the last was purchased in San Antonio.
The last time the jackpot reached more than $2 million was for the October 12, 2023 drawing, which peaked at $2.25 million. That prize was won by two individuals from Garland and Houston.
For just $1 per ticket, players could win the jackpot by matching all four white ball numbers, and the red Bonus Ball number, with odds of 1 in 32.4. Texas Two Step drawing are on Mondays and Thursdays each week at 10:12 p.m.
