As part of the “More Than a Match” fan experience, the AMA will host a “Fabrics of Fanatics” exhibit featuring scarves from the community.

ARLINGTON, Texas — As part of the larger More Than a Match: 4 Exhibitions, 1 Ultimate Fan Experience, the Arlington Museum of Art will be hosting an exhibit featuring matchday scarves.

In a release, the AMA says the Fabrics of Fanatics exhibit will be open for all ages from May 2 to Aug. 4, which will be included in the museum’s general admission.

This collaborative community soccer scarf installation will be hosted in partnership with the National Soccer Hall of Fame.

“These scarves have become such an iconic part of fan attire and match-day rituals, they have come a long way from the simple team-colored stripes they started with and have taken on unique designs that we hope to highlight through this exhibition with the help of our community,” Exhibition Coordinator Hayden Howe said. “We invite visitors to discover the hidden artistry in these beloved scarves of fans that reflect the spirit of the game and fan culture.”

The museum said they are opening this exhibit to community submissions as well, and the scarves will be returned to their owners after the exhibit closes in August.

If you are interested in getting a matchday scarf featured at the AMA, they have a link to a Google Form on their website.
