KANSAS CITY, Mo. (WIBW) – The K-State women advance to Friday’s Big 12 Women’s Tournament Quarterfinals with a 58-51 upset win over Texas Tech.
The Wildcats ended the game on a 21-0 run. This is the second time K-State has beaten the Lady Red Raiders.
Nastja Claessens led the way with 14 points. Taryn Sides added 13, followed by Aniya Foy with 12 and Tess Heal with 10.
K-State is set to face Oklahoma State (23-8) on Friday in the quarterfinal round. Tip-off is set for 11 a.m. on ESPNU.
