Russell Dickerson is set to take the stage Thursday evening at RODEOHOUSTON, bringing a night of country music to NRG Stadium. In January, Dickerson joined the Rodeo for a surprise pop-up concert. This NYC event featured a “Digital Beast” 3D billboard and announced Dickerson as part of the 2026 RodeoHouston lineup.
The rodeo has been hosting entertainers since 1942, when Gene Autry became the first nationally recognized star performer, with legends such as Roy Rogers and Elvis Presley performing in later years. The event has since grown to feature a wide range of genres and artists.
What time does the Rodeo start?
The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo begins at 6:45 pm at NRG Stadium. Russell Dickerson will take the stage at around 9 pm.
