On March 9, the NFL’s legal tampering period officially begins, opening the door for teams to agree to terms on contracts with free agents. A few days later on March 11, the new league year begins, and free agents can officially sign their deals.
Cowboys owner/GM Jerry Jones said he could see Dallas “being aggressive” in the free agency market as the team looks to add proven talent, especially on the defensive side of the ball.
