LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – The City of Lubbock is pleased to announce that David Bragg has been named the Division Director of Public Works, which oversees the operation of streets, traffic, solid waste, and pipeline maintenance.
Bragg has served as the interim director since August 2025.
“I am pleased to announce David Bragg as the Division Director of Public Works,” said Assistant City Manager Erik Rejino. “David has successfully served in the interim role for the past seven months, and I am confident in his ability to lead the department moving forward. With more than 19 years of experience and a proven track record, David will continue leading the Public Works team as they deliver essential services to the citizens of Lubbock.”
“I am humbled by this incredible opportunity, and am excited to serve the citizens of Lubbock in this new role,” said David Bragg.
Bragg’s role as Director is effective March 7, 2026.
