ARLINGTON, TEXAS – The UT Arlington track and field program has officially announced its 2026 outdoor schedule, featuring eight-regular season meets across the region before the Mavericks host to WAC Outdoor Championships and pursue qualifying spots at the NCAA Outdoor Championships.
UTA opens the outdoor campaign at home with the UT Arlington Invitational on March 13-14 at Maverick Stadium.
The Mavericks will then travel a short distance to Fort Worth for the TCU Alumni Invitational from March 20-21. UTA continues its road swing the following weekend with the Baylor Invitational in Waco, scheduled for March 27-28.
UTA will compete at the prestigious Texas Relays in Austin from Wednesday, April 1 through Saturday, April 4.
The Mavericks will remain on the road the following week for Texas A&M’s 44 Farms Invitational in College Station.
UTA returns to action April 17-18 at the Joe Gillespie Invitational, hosted by conference foe Tarleton State in Stephenville.
The regular season schedule concludes with two final meets. The Mavericks will first compete at the OU O-Ring Alumni Open in Norman, Okla., on Saturday, April 25 before returning to Forth Worth for the second time for the TCU Horned Frog Invitational on May 1-2.
UTA is scheduled to host the WAC Outdoor Championships, set for February 14-16 in Arlington, Texas at Maverick Stadium.
Qualifying Mavericks from the conference championship will advance to the NCAA West Preliminary Round, hosted by Arkansas on May 27-30 in Fayetteville, Ark. From there, qualifiers will advance to the NCAA Outdoor Championships in Eugene, Ore., scheduled for June 10-13.
