Dallas Trinity FC, fresh off a exhibition win against NWSL’s Houston Dash, takes on Lexington SC after the match was rescheduled from mid-February.

Dallas Trinity FC hits the road again in league play after a big home exhibition match win at the Cotton Bowl against NWSL club Houston Dash.

It was the first time the two Texas clubs had played each other, and Dallas Trinity FC came out on top 1-0.

Dallas Trinity FC is third in the Gainbridge Super League standings (24 points | 7 wins, 6 losses, 3 ties). The match between Dallas and Lexington was originally set to take place on Saturday, Feb. 14, but unsafe field conditions at Lexington SC Stadium required the match to be rescheduled to ensure player safety.

Sunday afternoon marks the third of four meetings between Dallas and Lexington this season. DTFC lost 6-1 on Sept. 26 (away) and drew 1-1 on Dec. 20 (home). The two sides face off once more on March 18 in Dallas.
