CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Corpus Christi Independent School District is welcoming two new principals as it prepares for the upcoming school year, aiming to strengthen leadership and support student success across its campuses.

Dr. Jenifer Guerra-Leos, a Carroll High School graduate and current principal at Tom Browne Middle School, will serve as the new principal of Mary Carroll High School. Guerra-Leos brings 24 years of experience in secondary education within CCISD, having also served as an assistant principal at Roy Miller High School. She has been recognized for her instructional leadership and for cultivating a positive school culture.

At Windsor Park Elementary, Dr. Marc Aguilera will take over from Dr. Kimberly Bissell, who has led the school since 2010. Aguilera has served as principal of Fred R. Sanders Elementary School and spent several years as an assistant principal and district math specialist. He holds advanced degrees in education and has been praised for his collaborative approach with students, families, and staff.

Both principals are expected to provide strong leadership and support for students, staff, and families as CCISD prepares for the upcoming school year. Superintendent Dr. Roland Hernandez praised their experience and leadership, saying their guidance will help ensure a positive and productive learning environment across the district.
