ARLINGTON, Texas — The Arlington community is invited to attend Court Connection, a free traffic safety program for students from elementary to high school, on March 28, 2026.

The event will take place at the Arlington Municipal Court, located at 101 S. Mesquite St., from 8 a.m. to noon. It is hosted by the Arlington Municipal Court in collaboration with the Arlington Police Department and the City’s Transportation Department. Participants will be directed to the appropriate floor based on their age and grade level.

Interactive activities include traffic safety exercises with free books and activity giveaways, drug and alcohol awareness with DUI goggles and a driving simulator, a search and rescue dog demonstration, and a mock trial experience.

Participants are encouraged to RSVP by March 13, 2026, by emailing russell.f.fiorella@arlingtontx.gov, including the ages of children attending. This initiative is part of the City’s Safe Streets Arlington Comprehensive Safety Action Plan, adopted by the City Council in December 2024, aiming to reduce deaths and serious injuries on city streets by 5% annually, with a goal of zero deaths and serious injuries by 2050, according to a press release from the Office of Communication.
