EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — A 43-year-old man was arrested on Friday in El Paso’s Lower Valley, as he is being accused of owing over $14,000 in child support.

According to the El Paso County Constable Office of Precinct Three, deputies arrested Carlos Luis Ochoa after he was found on the 8200 block of San Jose Road, near the Catholic Diocese of El Paso, after they received a warrant for his arrest for failing to pay child support.

Jail records show Ochoa was booked into the El Paso County Downtown Jail under a $2,500 bond.

According to jail records, Ochoa posted a cash bond; however, no information was posted regarding his release.
