Applications are open through March 20 for the open Place 6 seat on the Keller ISD board.
Keller trustees on Feb. 25 approved the process for appointing a new trustee to the board.
“Following the closure of the application period, the trustees will review the applications, conduct interviews with selected individuals, and consider appointing one of the candidates to the Place 6 seat,” a district spokesperson said.
The appointee will serve until the November 2026 election, “at which time, a special election will be held to fill the unexpired term for Place 6, which expires in November 2027,” the district said.

The district will accept applications until 5 p.m. March 20.
Charles Randklev vacated the Place 6 seat and is running for Keller City Council.
