Dallas police are investigating after a man was found dead in northern Dallas on Friday.
The Dallas Police Department was flagged down for an unconscious man before 6 p.m. on March 6 to the 8100 block of Forest Lane.
Officials with the Dallas Police Department said in a press release that a 42-year-old man was found lying in the grass near the scene. Dallas Fire-Rescue responded and pronounced the man dead. Police said the death is a homicide but did not provide any other information.

The name of the victim will not be released until the next of kin is notified.
