Goodnight, Chicago

Despite Chicago’s status as a basement-dweller in the Central Division, they’ve beaten Dallas in both of the team’s previous meetings this season. The Stars fell to the Blackhawks on Dec. 27 (4-3 in a shootout) and Jan. 1 (4-3).

This will be the final meeting between the two sides this season, the last chance for the Stars to enact some revenge.

Robertson rolling

Stars forward Jason Robertson has recorded four consecutive multi-point games (2 goals, 6 assists), matching his career high that he set earlier this season. Robertson had two assists against the Avalanche to give him 74 points (34 goals, 40 assists) through 62 games this season, which was the ninth-most in the NHL entering play Saturday.

Bedard problems

Blackhawks 20-year-old forward Connor Bedard enters Sunday’s matchup having totaled nine points (5 goals, 4 assists) in his last 10 games, dating back to Jan. 27. Bedard has collected 57 points (25 goals, 32 assists) in 49 games played this season, leading the team in scoring.

He enters Sunday’s contest riding a six-game point streak against the Stars (4 goals, 2 assists).
