Severe weather cancels RodeoHouston’s nightly drone show; officials advise guests to seek shelter and stay updated on event changes as storms approach NRG Park.
HOUSTON — The nightly drone show at RodeoHouston has been canceled due to strong storms in the area, event officials announced Saturday evening.
According to organizers, the drone show scheduled for Saturday night will not take place because of inclement weather conditions around NRG Park.

Officials also issued a weather advisory for guests attending the event.
At about 7:30 p.m., attendees were asked to seek shelter as storms moved into the area. Organizers warned that rides and other outdoor activities across the grounds could be paused as weather conditions develop.
