Corpus Christi, Texas — Rain chances will gradually increase across South Texas early this week as a cold front approaches the region.
According to the National Weather Service in Corpus Christi, low rain chances will continue Monday and Tuesday, with scattered showers possible across parts of the Coastal Bend.

Temperatures are expected to remain warm through the first half of the week, with highs ranging from around 80 to 87 degrees Monday and 79 to 93 degrees Tuesday across the region.
Forecasters say rain chances will increase Tuesday night into Wednesday as a cold front moves south through South Texas.
Wednesday currently carries the highest rain chances, between 40% and 75%, with scattered showers and thunderstorms possible across the region.
Behind the front, cooler and drier conditions are expected to move in by Thursday, bringing daytime highs down into the 70 to 78 degree range.
Sunny conditions are expected to return late in the week, with temperatures gradually warming again by Friday.
