Police are investigating after two people were shot, one of whom was killed, Saturday night in southern Dallas, officials say.

According to the Dallas Police Department, officers were called at about 10:29 p.m. Saturday to the 3400 block of Great Trinity Forest Way.

Police say one of the victims, 37-year-old Devodrick Lamont Franklin, was found laying in a doorway with an apparent gunshot wound to his chest.

Dallas Fire Rescue took Franklin to a local hospital, police say, where he died.

The second victim, a 16-year-old boy, took himself to a local hospital with serious injuries. Police say he’s in stable condition.

No arrests have been made as of Sunday evening.
