Plano West has gone 8-2 against Allen recently and they’ll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Wolves will face off against the Eagles at 7:15 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

As a matter of fact, Plano West put up the most runs they have all season on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 16-1 margin over McKinney. The Wolves have beaten the Lions the last six times they’ve met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Lions has come to flipping the script.

Emma Kesler looked comfortable as she didn’t allow a single earned run over four innings pitched.

At the plate, Plano West got a massive performance out of Brooke Reasoner, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, five RBI, and one double. Those five RBI gave Reasoner a new career-high. Abby Jennings was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Allen came out on top against Princeton on Thursday thanks in part to the team’s impressive 11-run fifth inning. The Eagles blew past the Panthers 19-1. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine games by six runs or more this season.

Claire McKeever was incredible, getting on base in all five of her plate appearances with one home run, four runs, and four RBI. Another player making a difference was Harper Dennis, who got on base in three of her five plate appearances with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.

Allen hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Princeton struck out eight times.

Allen’s record is now 12-3. As for Plano West, they now have a winning record of 7-6-1.

Plano West was able to grind out a solid win over Allen in their previous matchup back in April of 2025, winning 12-9. Will the Wolves repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We’ll find out soon enough.
