EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A man was stabbed Saturday evening, March 7 in Las Cruces and another man has been arrested, a Las Cruces Police spokesman said.
The incident happened just after 5 p.m. Saturday along the 1500 block of Hickory Drive. A 38-year-old man was sitting near the back of the La Quinta motel when another man approached, holding a knife.
The victim was stabbed in the back and was taken to the hospital. Police did not have any information on his condition.
A suspect, identified as Brendon Alonzo Huerta, 36, was arrested and charged with aggravated battery, the police spokesman said.
