Fort Worth
Taylor Sheridan is assembling the cast for his new “Tulsa King” spinoff on Paramount+.
“Frisco King” will begin filming in Fort Worth later this month and spend the next few months in production across the Metroplex. Previously titled “NOLA King,” the series was originally supposed to be set and made in New Orleans, but will now be a North Texas production.
“Frisco King” will star Samuel L. Jackson as Russell Lee Washington Jr., a hitman that crossed paths with Sylvester Stallone’s “Tulsa King” character Dwight Manfredi. Jackson appeared in the final two episodes of the show’s third season last year.
Paramount recently announced that four actors have been cast in the show, including a “Yellowstone” alum. Here’s what to know.
