A woman was killed Monday morning in a hit-and-run crash in south Fort Worth, police said.
Officers responded to the hit-and-run shortly after 7 a.m. at the intersection of Glen Garden Drive and South Riverside Drive, Fort Worth police said in a statement.
A 911 caller reported seeing an injured pedestrian lying on the ground in the street. When officers arrived, they found the victim, who died at the scene, police said.
Police said they found the suspect vehicle and the driver. The identity of the driver and details about potential charges faced were not released.
The woman who died will be identified by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office after her next of kin have been notified.
