AUSTIN, Texas — A massage therapist in Austin has been arrested following allegations of sexual assault at a local spa, according to the Austin Police Department.
Edwin Vargas-Garzon, a 48-year-old resident, was taken into custody on February 7, 2026, after a victim identified him as the suspect in an incident that occurred on November 2, 2025, at a spa located at 11011 Domain Drive. The victim reported the assault a few days after it happened, leading to a thorough investigation by Austin Police detectives.
During the investigation, detectives uncovered potential additional incidents involving Vargas-Garzon at multiple massage therapy establishments across the Austin area and surrounding communities.
