EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Two men were arrested after “jugging” a victim on Friday afternoon, March 6, in East El Paso, according to the El Paso Police Department.

Shortly after 5:30 p.m. on Friday, officers were dispatched to the 9800 block of Gateway West to reports of a burglary of a vehicle (jugging). Jugging is when someone follows a victim after they left an ATM or bank and steals their money right after.

The victim reported that after withdrawing cash from a bank, he placed the money in his vehicle and went to the store.

His vehicle was burglarized by two men, Randy Dronne Gray, 37, and Lamario Treveonne Gray, 35, police said.

Charged with burglary of vehicle (jugging) with a $15,000 bond and possession of marijuana with a $25 bond.

Charged with burglary of vehicle (jugging) with a $15,000 bond and possession of marijuana with a $25 bond.

Officers later located both men with the help of the Texas Department of Public Safety and arrested them.
