COLLEGE STATION, Texas. – The University of Houston Diving team closed out day one of the NCAA Zone D Diving Championships inside the Rec Center Natatorium at Texas A&M on Monday.
Junior Michelle McLeod qualified for the NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships following her performance in the 1-meter diving competition with a final score of 554.70. This marks McLeod’s third trip to the NCAA Championships and first qualification in the 1-meter. She has previously qualified in the 3-meter and platform events.
Freshman Maisy Woloszyn finished 30th overall with a score of 249.95.
UP NEXT
McLeod, Woloszyn and sophomore Caroline Roelen will continue competition with the 3-meter springboard beginning at noon, Tuesday. The event will be streamed on ESPN+ and live results can be found here.
