BELLMEAD, Texas (KWTX) — A 19-year-old woman told Bellmead police Saturday that a man she had just met offered to pay for her hotel room, then sexually assaulted her multiple times inside it.
According to an arrest affidavit, the woman had been living at the Motel 6 at 1509 Hogan Lane. Around 11 a.m. to noon, she said a man she identified as Damion Jackson, 38, approached her in the downstairs area of the hotel and started making small talk.
A conversation that turned into an assault
During that conversation, the woman told police she mentioned she was having financial problems and could not afford to stay another night. Jackson offered to give her money to cover the cost, the affidavit states. He then asked if he could come up to her room. The two exchanged social media information, and the woman said she let him in because she has a hard time saying no to people.
Once inside, the woman told police Jackson forced himself on her while she was lying on her bed. She said he sexually assaulted her three times without her consent between approximately 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. The affidavit notes that Jackson left the room at least twice during that time and came back.
Police called, surveillance footage reviewed
Officers were called to 950 N. Loop 340 in Bellmead just before 11 p.m. Saturday in connection with the reported assault. After speaking with the woman, officers went to the Motel 6 and pulled up surveillance footage. The video showed Jackson leaving the victim’s hotel room during the hours she said the assault took place, according to the affidavit.
Officers then found Jackson in his own room at the same motel and took him into custody.
Charges and bond
Jackson faces a charge of sexual assault, a second-degree felony. He was booked on March 8, 2026, and bond was set at $10,000.
