MOBILE, Ala. (KLTV) – Former Hallsville Bobcat Matt Houston blasted his third home run of the year in Louisiana Tech’s 6-1 win over South Alabama on Sunday.
Houston is hitting .400 with four RBI this season.
Houston started at catcher and batted seventh. He was 1-for-3 with a walk, an RBI and a run. In the second inning, Houston hit a 410-foot solo home run to put the Bulldogs ahead 2-0.
Louisiana Tech has won two games in a row and improved to 10-7 overall. The Bulldogs host Lamar on Tuesday.
