EY today announced that Daniel Washburn has been named the new Office Managing Partner (OMP) for the firm’s Fort Worth office, effective April 1. He succeeds Richard Payne, who will retire at the end of June following 24 years of service at EY, including more than a decade leading the Fort Worth office.
“Leading our firm’s Fort Worth office — especially at a time of such exciting growth for our city — has been one of the greatest experiences of my career,” Payne said. “I know Daniel’s leadership will bring tremendous value to our clients and team in our incredible city and business community.”
Washburn is an Assurance partner with 30 years of experience serving public and private companies across the real estate, engineering, construction and aerospace sectors. He has also served in multiple internal leadership roles focused on quality and market growth.
“Our city’s impressive growth is driven by our innovative business community, and EY is working hard to fuel even more growth and innovation,” Washburn said. “That work starts with high-quality client service and investing in our colleagues’ skills and knowledge, which will be my focus as Fort Worth OMP.”
A graduate of Abilene Christian University, Washburn is actively engaged in the Fort Worth community and serves as Chairman of the Board and a member of the Executive Committee for Casa Mañana.
