Mercedes-Benz Financial Services USA LLC is adding more than 120 jobs to its headquarters in far north Fort Worth by this summer, the company announced Tuesday.

MBFS USA opened a 200,000-square-foot office in the AllianceTexas development in 2019. After a recent reorganization, the Fort Worth site at 14372 Heritage Parkway became the U.S. headquarters this year for the Mercedes-Benz AG subsidiary.

Some of the added positions in Fort Worth will be current employees who relocate from other offices around the country. Others will be new hires for open roles that “strengthen operations, improve collaboration and enhance customer and dealer support nationwide,” the company said. It wasn’t immediately clear Tuesday how many employees currently work at the campus.

MBFS USA provides financing, leasing and insurance services for Mercedes-Benz vehicles in the U.S., Canada and Mexico. The Fort Worth office has handled several key operations including customer service, credit, collections and marketing.

Cameron Keating, head of operations at Mercedes-Benz Financial Services USA, said the company is “proud to invest in Fort Worth and contribute to the region’s strong talent pipeline and growing economy.” Mercedes-Benz has been at Alliance since 2007.

“This project and a new state-of-the-art operations center will enable us to reshape the way we work, so that our environment matches the activities we do every day,” Peter Zieringer, the company’s president and CEO, said in a statement. “Identifying the ideal local solution was a priority, reflecting our commitment to the talented team in our operations center.”

The MBFS USA office is off Interstate 35W next to Perot Field Fort Worth Alliance Airport. The 27,000-acre AllianceTexas development has 590 companies that have created more than 66,000 direct jobs.

“Mercedes-Benz Financial Services’ growth at AllianceTexas reflects the depth of the region’s workforce and collaborative partnerships,” said Steve Aldrich, senior vice president of Hillwood, the Perot company that developed Alliance.

“We’re proud that Mercedes-Benz Financial Services is adding new jobs here in Fort Worth,” said Robert Allen, president of the Fort Worth Economic Development Partnership. “These positions strengthen our local economy and build on Fort Worth’s reputation as a great place for business, talent, and growth in the financial services industry.”

Mercedes-Benz AG is headquartered in Stuttgart, Germany.
