AUSTIN, Texas — American Airlines announced Tuesday it will open a new, expanded Admirals Club lounge at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.
The new lounge will span more than 12,000 square feet on the west side of the terminal, up from its current footprint. The outdoor terrace will offer views of downtown Austin and the airfield.
Construction is underway, and the existing lounge will remain open during the renovation.

“As we elevate our presence in Austin, we’re excited to bring a new level of comfort and hospitality to our customers,” said Heather Garboden, American’s chief customer officer. “This new Admirals Club lounge will reflect the vibrant spirit of Austin while offering the thoughtful design and premium amenities our customers expect.”
The space will include distinct zones for dining, relaxing, working and recharging.
American currently operates nearly 50 daily flights to 11 destinations at Austin-Bergstrom.
