As NFL free agency rolls on, the Dallas Cowboys are still maneuvering some numbers around to create salary cap space.

The Cowboys restructured the contract of defensive tackle Kenny Clark, turning an $11 million roster bonus due next week into a signing bonus to open up more than $8 million in salary cap space, two people familiar with the move confirmed to The Dallas Morning News on Tuesday.

Clark was on of the key returns in the trade that sent Micah Parsons to Green Bay before the beginning of the 2025 season. Clark played all 17 games for the Cowboys, making 36 tackles and three sacks.

After the addition of fellow defensive tackle Quinnen Williams, acquired in a deal with the Jets at the trade deadline, there was a high possibility of some money shifting around as both players’ cap hits sat north of $20 million for next season.
