HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — Two women are dead, and two others were rushed to the hospital after a crash in the Galleria area, according to the Houston Police Department.
Investigators said they were called to the 2-vehicle accident in the 4600 block of Post Oak Place Drive on Tuesday afternoon.
SkyEye was over the aftermath that showed a Tesla Cybertruck and a white Buick sedan, both with front-end damage.
Lt. Larry Crowson said the preliminary investigation suggests the driver of the Buick failed to stop at an intersection, which led to the deadly crash. He added that the Cybertruck may have been speeding.
Crowson said the man driving the Cybertruck remained at the scene and was cooperating with investigators.
HPD added that investigators from its vehicular crimes division were at the scene.
