LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – The 2026 March for Babies campaign launched today in Lubbock, marking the start of the annual fundraiser supported by the March of Dimes organization.
The campaign collects money to fund research, programs and advocacy for healthier pregnancies to support moms and babies. Organizers said every dollar raised will stay on the South Plains.
“March for Babies — it’s more than a walk, it’s a movement,” said Heather Keister, chair of the March of Dimes. “It’s about showing up for families in their most vulnerable moments of their lives. When babies are born too soon or need extra care, organizations like March of Dimes are there — whether it’s funding research, supporting NICUs, and advocating for healthier moms and stronger babies.”
The highlight of the annual campaign is a community walk scheduled for April 25. Participants can form teams and begin fundraising now ahead of the event.
Donations can also be made at checkout through partner grocery stores.
