AUSTIN, Texas — Austin Police Department detectives are requesting assistance from the public to identify a suspect involved in multiple window peeping incidents across the city.

Two recent incidents occurred at the same location in the 4000 block of Avenue C, with the latest reported on February 17, 2026, at approximately 1:14 a.m., and the suspect returning on March 4, 2026, around 12:35 a.m., according to a press release from the department. Surveillance footage shows the suspect’s vehicle as a white Toyota Prius, notably missing a front right hubcap. Concerns have been raised about the suspect possibly possessing a handgun during a prior encounter.

The suspect is described as a white male, aged 40-50, standing between 5’10” and 6’0” tall, weighing approximately 190 pounds, with dark medium-length hair, and wearing glasses with dark frames. The vehicle is described as a white, 4-door Toyota Prius missing a front right hubcap.
