Multiple wildfires are burning in the Texas panhandle.

Oldham County

The Yellow Fire started Tuesday evening. It is burning east-southeast of Channing.

The Texas A&M Forest Service is responding.

As of 10 p.m. Tuesday, it had burned 5,000 acres and was 0-percent contained.

SH 354 is closed at the US 385 intersection in Channing due to the wildfire. Please avoid this area if possible.

Hemphill County

The Little Fire in Hemphill County burned just over 400 acres on Tuesday. But it is 100-percent contained.

The Hemphill County Sheriff’s Office initially told everyone west of Hwy 60/83 to be prepared to evacuate.

Gray County

The Cabin Creek Fire stared Monday in Gray County.
