Looking for ways to kick off spring break or celebrate St. Patrick’s Day early? Check out these events happening March 13-15, including Rodeo Austin, spring beer olympics, live music and more.

Friday the 13th Tattoo Flash Event

Don’t Tell Mama Tattoo will host a Friday the 13th event with flash tattoos, raffles, door prizes, vendors, drinks and sweets. Each tattoo artist will create a number of designs.

Rodeo Austin

Community members can plan to attend the event’s ProRodeo, featuring bull riding, barrel racing, mutton bustin’, team roping and more. Live music performers include Eli Young Band, Midland and William Clark Green.

2026 Billy’s Spring Beer Olympics

Volente Beach Resort will host a 21-and-older competition where participants can battle it out in the partner-based beer olympics. The event is part of the resort’s St. Patrick’s Day weekend celebration, which will also include live music, duck races, festive food and drinks, Irish dancers and more.

Community members can enjoy performances by Jimmy Eat Brisket, Chancla Fight Club and Glass Mansions. Goose Gore will be in attendance running a permanent and temporary tattoo booth.

Dino Days at Zilker Botanical Garden

These family-friendly events invite visitors to discover ancient flora, fossils and participate in interactive demonstrations led by local paleontologists.
