Editor’s note: Featured pets may be adopted quickly, but there are always others ready for their forever home.

At the Humane Society of North Texas, adoption is about changing lives, one match at a time. Learn more about adoptions at HSNT’s Fort Worth and Keller locations, or at off-site adoption events held six days a week at HSNT.org.

With St. Patrick’s Day around the corner, plenty of North Texans will be searching for a little extra luck. At the Humane Society of North Texas, or HSNT, good fortune looks like a family walking through the doors to choose a pet who has been waiting patiently for their chance at love.

This week’s featured pets may not come with pots of gold, but they are treasures by any measure.

Finnegan, a 2-year-old retriever mix, has the easygoing nature that makes him adaptable to many households. Finnegan enjoys being part of the action but also appreciates downtime with his people. His balanced temperament makes him a strong candidate for families looking for both companionship and reliability.

Cullen, a 2-year-old French bulldog, is compact in size but big in personality. He carries that unmistakable Frenchie charm, complete with expressive eyes and a confident strut. Cullen enjoys attention, thrives on interaction and has the playful spark that makes the breed so beloved. He’s a wonderful match for someone seeking a loyal companion with a sense of humor.

Silverado, a 4-month-old Terrier mix, is curious and energetic, he approaches the world with enthusiasm and the kind of optimism only a young puppy can offer. Silverado would thrive with a family ready to invest time in training and play, building a foundation that will last well beyond puppyhood.

This St. Patrick’s Day weekend, luck may not be something you find. It may be something you choose. Cullen, Finnegan and Silverado are three of many pets hoping to be someone’s good fortune.

The details: Where compassion meets action
