LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – Lubbock Fire Rescue has evacuated more than a dozen homes due to a dangerous gas leak.
Around 11 a.m., LFR says a third party damaged a four inch gas line near 18th and Toledo.
Fire crews ordered 17 homes evacuated and LP&L has isolated the power to homes between Quaker and Utica. Atmos has isolated the gas lines and is waiting for the gas to thin out.
LFR says repairs could take a while.
