Investigators say Gonzalez forced his way through the back door of a home that was under construction. Once inside, deputies say he ripped out electrical breaker switches.
The construction company later reported the theft.
When deputies checked Gonzalez’s record, they found he had previously been charged with burglary of a building. Investigators also say there have been multiple thefts of circuit breaker switches from construction sites tied to Gonzalez.
Gonzalez is described as 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing about 145 pounds.
The sheriff’s office says he has allegedly been committing these types of thefts since at least December of last year.
