TRAVIS COUNTY, Texas — Authorities are investigating after a man was pulled from Lake Austin Tuesday evening.
Austin Police Department officers responded at 7:10 p.m. to the 12110 block of Pleasant Panorama View following reports of a deceased person in the water. That is near Quinlan Park, close to the Steiner Ranch area in west Travis County.
The Travis County Sheriff’s Office, Austin-Travis County EMS and Austin Fire also responded.

The individual was removed from the river and pronounced dead at 7:26 p.m. The man’s identity has not yet been released.
APD said the death is not being investigated as a homicide. The cause of death will be determined by the Travis County Medical Examiner’s Office.
