On Wednesday night, the San Antonio Spurs will play the Denver Nuggets in Colorado.

The Spurs most recently beat the Boston Celtics by a score of 125-116.

Victor Wembanyama finished the win with 39 points, 11 rebounds, three assists, one steal and two blocks while shooting 11/20 from the field and 8/15 from three-point range in 37 minutes of playing time.

Before their showdown with the Nuggets, the Spurs announced that Wembanyama will be listed as questionable.

Jared Weiss of The Athletic wrote: “Victor Wembanyama is questionable for tomorrow’s matchup against the Denver Nuggets with right ankle soreness. Harrison Barnes is also questionable to return from a left ankle impingement that has held him out for the past week.”

Wembanyama is averaging 24.2 points, 11.1 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 1.0 steals and 3.0 blocks per contest while shooting 50.6% from the field and 36.0% from three-point range in 51 games.

He is in his third season after being picked first in 2023.

Wemby And The Spurs Are Rolling

The Spurs come into the night as the second seed in the Western Conference with a 48-17 record in 65 games.

They have won nine out of their last ten games (and are in the middle of a five-game winning streak).

Following the Nuggets, the Spurs will remain at home to host LaMelo Ball and the Charlotte Hornets.

They are 25-6 in the 31 games they have played in San Antonio.

Nuggets Ahead Of Spurs Clash

The Nuggets remain one of the elite teams in the NBA with the star duo of Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic.

They are the sixth seed in the Western Conference with a 39-26 record in 65 games.

Over their last ten games, the Nuggets have gone 4-6 (and they have lost two in a row).

Before the Spurs, they will host the Houston Rockets on Wednesday evening.
