AUSTIN, Texas – Texas Beach Volleyball will travel to Manhattan Beach, California, to compete in the East Meets West Invitational at Manhattan Beach Pier. The Longhorns are slated for four ranked matchups, including a showdown with No. 1 UCLA.
Texas remained No. 5 in the latest AVCA poll after sweeping three matches at the MPSF Mid-Season Rumble, defeating No. 16 Grand Canyon, No. 18 Washington and Oregon. The duo of Brecht Piersma and Katie Hashman did not drop a set, claiming all four wins on Court 1 in Los Angeles.
