The North Tarrant County dining scene has a new addition with the March 2026 opening of Acquario Pizza Pasta & Bar, a sister concept to Keller’s Acquario Italian Restaurant.Â
Located at 967 Keller Parkway in the former Maple Street Biscuit Company space, the restaurant offers a casual, family-friendly setting centered around an open kitchen. Guests can watch wood-fired pizzas cook in an exposed oven while fresh pasta is made daily in a visible pasta machine.
The kitchen is led by chef Gimmy Piperku, a world champion of the Caputo Cup pizza-making competition held annually in Naples, Italy. The menu focuses on traditional Italian recipes made with ingredients imported from Italy, including wood-fired pizzas, fresh pastas, salads, and classic starters. Other menu highlights include Calamari Fritti served with marinara and lemon, as well as the Noe Nicola pizza topped with tomato sauce, mozzarella, prosciutto and arugula.
The new concept offers a more casual counterpart to the original Acquario Italian Restaurant on Davis Boulevard, which opened in October 2023 and is known for its seafood-forward Italian menu.
Acquario Pizza Pasta Bar is now open in Keller for lunch and dinner.
