PPA Tour: Veolia Texas Open

The Professional Pickleball Association Tour returns to North Texas with the Veolia Texas Open at The Courts of McKinney. Leprechaun Lights Out

Goalie Content Creator Game

Tuff Nutterz
Mar. 13 | Oak Point Park and Nature Preserve, Plano
Tuff Nutterz brings a supersized inflatable adventure to Plano with a 1,000-foot obstacle course packed with more than 30 challenges. Participants can tackle climbing walls, hanging rails, balance balls and the towering 20-foot “Tuffy Slide,” while younger guests can build confidence on a dedicated miniature course.
Flip Circus

Flip Circus brings its red-and-white striped, climate-controlled big top to Frisco for the first time when it sets up at Riders Field. Created by the Vazquez family of Circus Vazquez fame, the all-new production blends world-class circus talent with modern spectacle. St. Patrick’s Day Weekend
Mar. 14–17 | PGA District, Frisco
Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day weekend at the PGA District at Omni PGA Frisco Resort & Spa with festive food and drink specials across several venues. The Lounge by Topgolf serves a hearty Guinness beef stew topped with puff pastry, while Ice House features Guinness BBQ beef short ribs with mashed potatoes and smoked cabbage. Ryder Cup Grille offers a braised Irish lamb shank with whipped potatoes and Jameson gravy. Green beer will also be flowing throughout the District all weekend long.
Family Magic and Comedy Show with Mike Williams

DFW magician and comedian Mike Williams brings family-friendly fun to the Addison Improv with his long-running show. The 75-minute matinee blends quick-witted comedy, jaw-dropping illusions and plenty of audience participation for an entertaining afternoon the whole family can enjoy. Arrive early for lunch service, which includes a magic-themed kids menu and close-up sleight-of-hand performed right at your table.
McKinney Shamrock Run 5K

Kick off St. Patrick’s Day weekend at the 9th Annual McKinney Shamrock Run 5K at Towne Lake Park. Registration includes the official race T-shirt, bib and finisher’s medal and participants 21 and over can celebrate afterward with a complimentary green beer from TUPPS Brewery. A portion of the proceeds benefits The Warrior’s Keep.
Dallas St. Patrick’s Parade & Festival
March 14 | Blackwell St to SMU Blvd, Dallas
The largest St. Patrick’s Day event in the Southwest, this festival attracts more than 120,000 people to the 2-mile strip of Greenville Avenue, featuring a massive parade, food trucks and live music.
The Garden Show
Mar. 14–15 | Myers Park & Event Center, McKinney
Garden enthusiasts can dig into inspiration at The Garden Show at Myers Park & Event Center. The event features more than 80 booths with plants and garden products from local vendors, along with expert speakers, hands-on demonstrations and practical Earth-Kind gardening advice. Families can enjoy a children’s scavenger hunt, local food, prize drawings and free parking while exploring the weekend celebration of all things gardening.

Soccer: More Than a Game

As North Texas prepares for the global spotlight of the FIFA World Cup, the Perot is kicking off the excitement with Soccer: More Than a Game. The 10,000-square-foot interactive exhibition explores the science behind the world’s most popular sport, from the physics of a perfectly curved free kick to the strategy behind championship teams. Through hands-on experiences and STEM-focused displays, visitors of all ages can discover the science, skill and spirit that power the game.
Joy: A Solo Exhibition | Paintings by Emmanuel Gillespie
Feb. 6–Mar. 28 | ArtCentre of Plano
Dallas-based artist and educator Emmanuel Gillespie presents Joy, a solo exhibition exploring identity, history and the lived Black experience in America.
