The Java House Grand Prix of Arlington track sits on Cowboys Way on March 12 next to Globe Life Field. The 2.73-mile long track has 14 turns.
Residents can expect a three-day weekend of adrenaline as the inaugural Java House Grand Prix of Arlington takes over the Arlington Entertainment District.
A grand prix is a high-level racing competition. Arlington’s IndyCar race is the third of 18 races that will determine the NTT IndyCar Series championship winner. The 2.73-mile, 14-turn track will circle near AT&T Stadium, Globe Life Field and Choctaw Stadium. The track includes a split-pit lane and a technical horseshoe section next to AT&T Stadium.
Aside from the races, residents can enjoy the Good Ranchers Concert Series, featuring rock band All Time Low and country-rock band Giovannie and the Hired Guns on Friday, and singer-rapper T-Pain and musician Disco Lines on Sunday.
Here is the schedule for each series:
NTT IndyCar Series
The first practice will take place at 4 p.m. Friday, followed by the second practice at 9:30 a.m. Saturday. Qualifying will take place at 2:30 p.m. Saturday with the warm-up and race taking place at 10 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. Sunday, respectively.
Toyota GR Cup
The first practice will take place at 9:05 a.m. Friday, followed by practice two at 12:35 p.m. and the race one qualifying at 4:45 p.m. Race one will take place at 11:20 a.m. Saturday, followed by the race two qualifying at 4:20 p.m. and race two at 8 a.m. Sunday.
Indy NXT by Firestone
The first practice will take place at 2 p.m. Friday, followed by practice two at 10:15 a.m. Saturday. Qualifying will take place at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, followed by the race at 10 a.m. Sunday.
USF Pro 2000
Practice will take place at 11:30 a.m. Friday, followed by qualifying at 5:15 p.m. and race one at 12:25 p.m. Saturday. Race two will take place at 4:55 p.m. Saturday.
Parking passes are available throughout the venue for three-day and single-day options. Friday-only parking starts at $40, Saturday-only parking starts at $45, Sunday-only parking starts at $55 and three-day parking starts at $125.
Starting at 3 a.m. Wednesday, North Collins Street near Randol Mill Road will be closed, according to a universitywide email sent Tuesday. Friday morning closures will include:

General admission starts at $35 for Friday, $50 for Saturday, $90 for Sunday, and $110 for all three days. Children 12 and younger receive free general admission with an adult ticket.
All admission tickets provide entry to the Good Ranchers Concert Series.
