AUSTIN, Texas — Austin police are seeking the public’s help in identifying three young suspects linked to an auto theft and credit card fraud investigation in Northeast Austin last month.
According to the Austin Police Department, officers responded at approximately 10:26 a.m. on Feb. 27 to a report of a stolen vehicle in the 11300 block of Bachman Drive.

The victim told police their vehicle had been parked at the location the night before, but was gone the following morning. Authorities said the victim also left a purse inside the vehicle that contained a wallet, credit cards, and important documents.
Investigators later reviewed surveillance footage that reportedly shows three young suspects using the victim’s stolen credit cards at a gas station store in the 1800 block of Dessau Road.
Police describe the suspects as:
Suspect 1: A Black male believed to be about 16 to 18 years old with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie, black jeans, and white Nike shoes.Suspect 2: A white male believed to be about 16 to 18 years old with a thin build.
