San Pedro Limon owners continue family legacy with second Georgetown location

When Yuri Paz and her husband Victor Benitez immigrated from San Pedro Limon, Mexico, to Georgetown over 20 years ago, the couple and their three young children sold homemade tortillas door to door.

The original San Pedro Limon opened in 2012 at 905 N. Austin Ave., Georgetown, serving authentic Mexican dishes, such as chilaquiles and el pastor tacos inspired by the family’s heritage.

After more than a decade, the family decided to expand their business operations by opening a second location at 1004 S. Austin Ave., Georgetown, dedicated to to-go orders, catering preparation and housing the tortilla machine.

This expansion will help ensure the first location remains a sit-down restaurant where loyal patrons can receive high-quality service, the family said.

“We want to make sure that we’re always able to have a seat for you when you come in,” eldest son Victor Benitez said.
