EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — A 20-year-old man was arrested Friday in connection with a road rage incident in Far East El Paso, where a man was beaten and his vehicle was stolen back in January.
According to the El Paso County Sheriff, after a months-long investigation, Cristian Garay was arrested at the 3500 block of Gajeske Avenue, near Red Sands, and charged with aggravated robbery after investigators identified him as a suspect in a road rage incident that happened on Jan. 11 at the intersection of Greg and Desert Meadows Road.
Garay and other suspects are being accused of assaulting a man, leaving him covered in blood, before stealing his vehicle and fleeing the area.
No word if the other suspects have been identified.
At the time, the victim was taken to the hospital for medical treatment; no word on the type of injuries he suffered.

According to jail records, Garay spent the weekend in the El Paso County Downtown Jail before he was released on Monday after posting a surety bond of $45,000.
