After adding a few players on the defensive side of the ball, the Dallas Cowboys are reportedly adding a veteran offensive lineman to their roster.

According to ESPN, the Cowboys have agreed to a deal with offensive lineman Matt Hennessy. He last played for the San Francisco 49ers.

Hennessy has six years of NFL experience on his résumé. He originally entered the league in 2020, when he was selected in the third round of the NFL draft by the Atlanta Falcons. Hennessy has experience at the guard and center positions.

He mainly played guard throughout his stint in Atlanta. After suiting up for the Falcons from 2020-23, Hennessy spent a brief period with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2024. He was released ahead of the 2024 campaign, paving the way for another stint with the Falcons.
