DALLAS COUNTY, Ala. (WSFA) – An investigation is underway after a Wednesday night shooting left one man dead in Dallas County, according to Sheriff Mike Granthum.
The sheriff’s office said the shooting happened between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. in the 7300 block of Highway 80.
Granthum identified the victim as 67-year-old Alfred Grayson. The sheriff said Grayson was fatally shot in the torso during a drive-by shooting.
A white SUV shot into Grayson’s vehicle, striking it several times, according to the sheriff.
